CascadeFund ============= CascadeFund is building an open-source ecosystem that connects maintainers and users. It is part of the Ara project (https://ara.foundation). Tagline: An open-source ecosystem of maintainers and users. Problem ------- Large technology companies offer coherent product ecosystems—many integrated apps and services with polished user experience. Open-source often does not: projects are marketed mainly as “open-source alternatives,” can lack consistent UX, may be poorly integrated with each other, and struggle with long-term sustainability for maintainers. Approach -------- CascadeFund works toward a semantic web of open-source: helping maintainers stay sustainable, reducing unnecessary fragmentation and complexity across OSS, and growing adoption through a connected experience rather than isolated projects. Status ------ The team is onboarding early projects and inviting contributors and communities to grow the ecosystem.
